On Tuesday the 20th of September there will be an open meeting to discuss the Winter Fuel Crisis. It will be held at 7pm, in the Burgh Halls, and organised by the Linlithgow Community Development Trust and the Linlithgow & Linlithgow Bridge Community Council.
All members of the public are welcome to attend, and several organisations
are already discussing measures which could be implemented, to give a
community wide approach, to what is becoming a pressing issue needing
urgent and immediate support. Ideas and thoughts will be greatly welcomed,
from all groups, organisations and individuals within the community.
With 6.7 million households now in fuel poverty, and average energy prices doubling in the space of a year, this winter will put pressure on us all. We urge you to attend and make your voices heard!
