Demonstration of Community Support
Linlithgow Victoria Hall Trust
The purpose of the Linlithgow Victoria Hall Trust is to acquire the derelict Victoria Hall, High Street, Linlithgow and to develop a community arts facility incorporating a film theatre and flexible performing arts spaces.
In order to ensure the future viability of the development, the Trust plans to incorporate two retail units on the ground floor and between four and six one bedroom flats on the upper floors to provide rental income in support of the community facility.
The Trust is now ready to submit a formal application under the provisions of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 as amended by the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, but, in order to do so, the Trust is required to demonstrate significant community support (at least 1000 residents) for its plans.
By filling in and sending the form below, you will be demonstrating that support.
Please share and encourage as many people as possible to fill in and send this form.
Alternatively, you can download and print off this other Victoria Hall Community Support Form to encourage more people in person to fill in and show their support, particularly non-members of the Victoria Hall Trust.
A copy of the Trust’s feasibility study for the Victoria Hall project, that will form an important part of the application, can be found on the Trust’s website: https://www.newvictoriahall.co.uk/feasibility-sub
**Personal and contact details submitted shall be used to demonstrate community and wider support for the Linlithgow Victoria Hall redevelopment proposal and for no other purpose.**
